Heirloom Collection

Let's go to a Texas Hill Country Cottage. It is early spring and the lavender is blooming, giving the fields a delicate sweet smell and shading everything with soft purple hues. Honeybees and monarch butterflies float around in a coordinated dance of wings and buzz. There is a walk path to the cottage, lined with indian paintbrushes and bluebonnets. As you walk up the path, you see the porch swing, with cozy pillows. Come on in, the door is open. Once inside, it is like you have entered into a dream forgotten by the passage of time. There are sepia toned photographs hanging from metal work frames on the walls, next to pressed-flower pieces. The chairs are inviting, with floral and plaid cushions. A table is set with an embroidered table cloth, delicate china, and glasses of sweet tea adorned with lemon wedges. On a vintage cake stand, there are freshly baked pastries, covered by a doily. Sit down, sip the tea and enjoy this little haven that is my heirloom cottage.
