Olive And Burgundy

Part of the Art Deco Fall collection, this cat eyes, art deco, hand-drawn fabric features hand-painted cat eyes, orchids, peonies. This all started with a sketch of a flower that , when placed on the pattern block looked like cat eyes. So I played with that idea, drawing whiskers in the style of the art deco swirls, then added other elements, like orchids that form a grid and a very symmetrical peony. It is is playful and whimsical, with nods to times gone by, but very wearable today
